Description: ¼ Beans Bru set in a Durban eatery (Patels) best known for its appetising vegetarian bunnies at yester years prices becomes the backdrop for a delightful conversation which threads its way from the arcades of Durban City, the inner story of Grey Street and surrounding areas and of course the famous, infamous and flamboyant personalities of the time. The two story tellers played by playwright, filmmaker and comedian Vivian Moodley and stage personality Bassy Bhola will bring to life historical developments that pertains to the Indian diaspora and celebrates many unsung heroes of the past. The play is written and directed by Yugan Naidoo and produced by Dingalings Productions.
The play runs from the 2nd May to 19th May 2013 at 8pm daily except for Sundays at 2pm and 6pm

Description: The play “Listen with your Eyes” is the Deaf only comedy based in a science lab. The hearing scientist and his Deaf assistant find communication a big challenge and they set about designing a robot to interpret for them. While designing the robot the hearing scientist learns a lot about Deaf people’s communication needs but not without loads of humour!
LWYE has been selected for Festival Clin d’Oeil (European Deaf Theatre Festival) in Reims, France. This is the first time ever for the Deaf led South African cast and director to perform on the international stage, which makes history for Catalina UnLtd and South Africa!
